Welcome to Einstein Otolaryngology!
The Department of Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM) is a multi-site, multi-borough residency with a rich mixture of clinical endeavors. Residents train at all affiliated hospitals of the medical school, which are organized into three campuses. The hospitals of the Bronx campus are Montefiore Medical Center (MMC) (Moses and Weiler Divisions) including the Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM), and Jacobi Medical Center (JMC). The Queens campus consists of Long Island Jewish Medical Center (LIJMC) including the Schneider Children's Hospital (SCH), and the Manhattan campus consists of Beth Israel Medical Center (BIMC).
Our residents come from the finest medical schools from all over the country to train as otolaryngologists. Graduates of our program go on to pursue a wide variety of fellowship opportunities and ultimately work in academic settings as well as in private practice. The economic, racial and ethnic diversity of the Bronx provides a large variety of patient pathology and learning opportunities for our residents, which is further augmented by experiences in Long Island and Manhattan. Our faculty consists of fellowship-trained specialists in all aspects of otolaryngology, providing a well-rounded rounded training experience.
